COVID-19 Update: Let’s Stay Healthy Catalina

A more transmissible coronavirus variant, originally discovered in the UK, has been detected in the United States, specifically in the states of Colorado, California, Florida, Georgia and New York. This new strain is NOT believed to be more deadly, or more resistant to existing vaccines.  We want to remind everyone that while we wait for more vaccine doses, we must be vigilant about protecting our families and those most vulnerable in our communities by continuing to observe public health safety guidelines. That means avoiding travel unless essential, and not gathering with those outside of your household. Protect yourself and others from getting or spreading coronavirus by wearing a mask over your nose and mouth when outside your home.
