Dr. Aimee Warren presents on COVID-19, including updates to available COVID-19 testing procedures, antigen vs antibody testing and updated hospital protocol for screening and using both types of tests. Dr Warren also covers why CI Health is not testing all residents, and what requirements are in place for testing.
Dr. Warren discusses what a positive antibody test means, the lack of definitive research regarding potential immunity, the plans and concerns on reopening some parts of our economy and CI Health's current standing with PPE, healthcare, testing capacity and more.
Dr. McGroarty, presently in Kansas conveys what the Catalina Island community can learn from his experiences in an area where there is less community adherence to social distancing and higher infection rates throughout the region, and what this means for long term success in the fight against COVID-19.
