About the cause
Catalina Island Health's hospital was built when Catalina Island had 1,500 residents and 250,000 visitors. There are now over 4,000 residents and 1 million visitors. Our hospital is undersized and doesn’t meet earthquake standards, which will force it to close by the year 2030 if a new hospital is not built. Learn More
