Visiting Specialists
CIMC’s primary care physicians and family nurse practitioner provide the island community with a solid foundation of care. When specialty care is needed however, a trip to the mainland is not always necessary, thanks to the visiting specialist providers who regularly provide services at CIMC.
Visiting specialists regularly see patients at Catalina Island Medical Center, typically on Saturdays in the medical group office and are often also available for virtual appointments. Cardiology, Ophthalmology, Urology, and Vascular Medicine are just some of the medical specialties available.
Appointments must be scheduled directly with each visiting specialist’s office.
Upcoming Visiting Specialist Dates
Dr. Mady completed his Residency in Internal Medicine and Fellowship in Vascular Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Vascular Medicine. He is also a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathy degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. More Information
Dr. Younger is Board-certified and Fellowship trained. His fellowship training in Cornea, Lasik and Refractive Surgery at the prestigious Jules Stein Eye Institute at UCLA, allows him to offer the most advanced Refractive Cataract Surgery to patients. He graduated from the University of Arizona College of Medicine. Dr. Younger is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is President of the Orange County Society of Ophthalmology.
